Taiwan Blue Magpie is a rare and unique species of Taiwan. With its sapphire blue feathers, the bird soars in the valleys. As a lucky symbol, the bird is also often seen jumping up and down on the branches, singing with joy.
Ya-Tang Liang, the famous historian once described the bird in his book "The General History of Taiwan": The commonly-called long-tailed mountain lady has blue wings and a red beak, and impresses people with its glitter.
